Beautiful makeup & skin care
is not a luxury, it's a necessity.

Thank you for visiting Rachel’s Final Touch! Baltimore’s #1 Makeup Artist!

Rachel’s Final Touch was created due to the overwhelming demand for my services. Prior to graduating from the Von Lee School of Esthetics, makeup artistry program, I had a very lucrative career in the real-estate field. Also, I was an account executive for a publishing company and was responsible for setting up and creating art work for their ads. People had told me I was crazy to leave this position to work behind a cosmetic counter. However, I always had a constant tug in the pit of my stomach every time I came across a cosmetic counter. I made the decision to change jobs and became a sales representative for Estee Lauder. When the company noticed my artistic talent, they quickly promoted me to makeup artist handling national promotion accounts and special events. I worked at such well known stores as Saks and Nieman Marcus in Tyson’s Corner. I was promoted again to counter manager and managed over a million dollar counter. Due to the high demand for my services, Rachel’s Final Touch was created. The public would ask if I would come to their home and do the makeup for their wedding. I would go to the bride’s home applying makeup application after makeup application.
The word spread, and soon I found myself having a large clientele.

During these makeup applications, I would constantly hear: What can I do about these blackheads? Can you get rid of these dark circles under my eye? I’m tired of breaking out, what can I do about this? Having only worked with Estee Lauder, I felt that I needed to broaden my knowledge and expand my education. I returned to school and attended the Von Lee School of Esthetics where I received my esthetician’s license.

After graduating from Von Lee, I specialized in medical esthetics for make-up and skin care. While still maintaining Rachel’s Final Touch, I took post graduate courses on various subjects relating to makeup and skin care. The courses were on Vitamin C, Tretinion effects on the skin, free radical damage, camouflage makeup, etc. I was asked to serve on the board of The American Academy of Medical Esthetics.

I have worked for four different plastic and reconstructive surgeons: Dr. Arminger, Dr. Chang, Dr. Cohen, and Dr. Paskert. There, I was responsible for the total skin care of the clients, in addition to doing all of the administrative work. Also, I performed facials, blue peels, glycolis peels, microdermabrasion, waxing, camouflage makeup, etc.

I was an instructor for both the Von Lee School of Esthetics and (another esthics partnership school). While there, I wrote a makeup curriculum for them. I am currently working for Dr. Adam Basner, plastic and reconstructive surgeon, on a client need basis.

Some of my accomplishments include being the official makeup artist for the Baltimore Blast cheerleading team where I did both hair and makeup. I also have as a client a Ravens football player.

Makeup and skin care go hand in hand. I pride myself on the total look I create. I am passionate about makeup and skin care.

“MAKEUP AND SKIN CARE IS NOT A LUXURY, IT’S A NECESSITY.”
LET RACHEL’S FINAL TOUCH BE THE FINAL TOUCH!
